GLOBAL GRAPHICS SOFTWARE WINS A QUEEN’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE

Cambridge UK, 21 April, 2020:  Cambridge-based Global Graphics Software, a leading developer of core technology for digital print, has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

The Company has been recognised for its excellence in innovation and is one of 220 organisations nationally to receive a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Global Graphics Software’s award recognises the development of ScreenPro™, screening software that corrects quality defects that occur due to the physics of jetting ink onto substrate.  ScreenPro is effective in single pass and multi pass inkjet printing using any electronics or printheads and can be applied to any workflow. It is now in use in several applications including wall coverings, textiles, ceramics, packaging, flooring and labels.

Justin Bailey, managing director of Global Graphics Software, said, “We are humbled to receive this honour from Her Majesty the Queen. It recognizes the innovative thinking of our teams and the quality of the software they produce.  ScreenPro has the potential to transform digital print. It makes it possible to print a greater number of jobs digitally by removing artifacts from printed output.   As a supplier to the global printing marketplace I feel sure that this award will help us with sales of our technology in countries who associate British technology with the highest quality.”

Global Graphics Software’s roots are in Cambridge and go back to 1986.  The Company sells technology to press manufacturers across the world, such as HP, Roland, Durst, Kodak and Canon.

Global Graphics Software plans to celebrate its award during a royal reception for Queen’s Awards winners in the summer, and later in the year, a celebration for all employees at its Cambourne head office.
